Germany: Honour killing charges against mum and dad

Lareeb Khan (Jihad Watch)

From Clarion Project:
Honor Killing in Germany After Police Slip-Up
29 September 2015

A 19-year old girl was strangled to death by her father in an honor killing in Germany after police informed him by letter she had been caught shoplifting condoms.

Asadullah Khan, 51, strangled his daughter Lareeb while she slept in the family home. He and his wife, Shazia Khan, then dressed Lareeb in her work clothes as a dental assistant and put her body in their car and discarded it in a nearby forest.

The pair is being charged with murder.

Asadullah Khan admitted the killing and told the court that his daughter had brought dishonor on the family by forming a relationship with a boyfriend he did not approve of. He wanted her to have an arranged marriage with someone from Pakistan.

“'Lareeb stayed away from the home for several nights in a row and stopped wearing the headscarf,” Shazia Khan, Lareeb's mother, told the court. “One day we received a letter from the police saying she had been caught trying to steal condoms. At this point it became clear that there was sexual contact. When I showed the letter to my husband he snapped.”

Shazia Khan claimed that she was a cowed and submissive wife who had been physically unable to restrain her husband and prevent the murder.

But Lareeb’s younger sister, Nida, 14, told the court that her mother was just as bad as her father and would beat the girls often.

“My Mama was not suppressed, she could do what she wanted. She used to hit me with a stick,” Nida said....

Jewish children cry as muslim mob attacks in Jerusalem       Reuters

A hassidic child cries, clinging to his father's hand as an angry mob hounds them, hurling anti-Semitic abuse.

Scenes not from Europe in the early twentieth century, but from the streets of Jerusalem's Old City on Sukkot, 2015.

Muslims in the holy city have been rioting for more than two weeks now, clashing with police and attacking Jewish residents. Several people have been injured and one man - 64-year-old grandfather Alexander Levlovich - was murdered by Muslim terrorists who hurled rocks at his car, causing a fatal crash....

The above video was taken Monday morning, on the first day of the Jewish festival Sukkot, and shows mobs of Muslims harassing Jews on their way to pray at the Kotel (Western Wall)....

Green Beret discharged for shoving accused Afghan rapist speaks out

A Green Beret ordered discharged after he and his team leader body-slammed an alleged Afghan child rapist is speaking out against the Army's effort to punish him, as he fights to stay in the service.

If you didn’t know, boy rape is very prevalent throughout Iraq and Afghanistan and the culture there. There are several accounts of Taliban fighters going into villages, killing and raping children and adults.

'Kicking me out of the army is morally wrong and the entire country knows it.'

- Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland

Read more here.

FOX News has this:

[...]  A Green Beret ordered discharged after he and his team leader body-slammed an alleged Afghan child rapist is speaking out against the Army's effort to punish him, as he fights to stay in the service.

"Kicking me out of the Army is morally wrong and the entire country knows it," Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland said, in his first public statement on his case.

The detailed written statement, requested by Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., was shared by the congressman's office with FoxNews.com. Hunter, who has advocated on Martland's behalf, intends to submit the statement to the House Armed Services Committee.

Martland's case has received renewed attention amid recent press reports on the U.S. military's handling of child abuse allegations involving Afghan allies. In his statement, Martland gives a blunt account of the September 2011 encounter with the "brutal child rapist," local police commander Abdul Rahman. He acknowledges the confrontation, but suggests the commander exaggerated his injuries -- and argues that the boy's safety, as well as American lives, was at stake that day. ...

FOX has more - including a video clip - here.

Bouhammer has a piece up on this travesty.
[...]

In the case of SFC Martland, it is truly disgusting because in the Army we teach and are taught that we should all do the HARD RIGHT instead of the EASY WRONG. This is what separates the sheepdogs from the sheep. Standing up for what is right and having the courage and intestinal fortitude to do it. Trust me it is not easy and many times, not possible. Our soldiers are put in the middle of a rock and a hard place when they see something as horrific as child rape and abuse happening, or even soldier male on male rape happen. And also know that they are told by all levels “it isn’t our job to install our values into their culture” and to know that if they offend, humiliate and piss off the same Afghans who’s protection our vulnerable soldiers depend on for force protection could cause an American’s death...

You know he has more.   GO read it here.

SFC Martland isn't the first Soldier to be treated this way by our Military;  he won't be the last who chooses the "HARD RIGHT" course of action.

Thank God for men like him.

30,000 foreigners sign up for ISIS

We are told the 'JV team' is 'on the run' etc etc etc...but apparently a number of foreigners rushing to join ISIS didn't get THAT memo:

From JihadWatch:

Now 30,000 foreign Muslims have joined ISIS; analyst says they’ve lost momentum
SEPTEMBER 27, 2015

“Nearly 30,000 foreign recruits have now poured into Syria, many to join the Islamic State, a doubling of volunteers in just the past 12 months and stark evidence that an international effort to tighten borders, share intelligence and enforce antiterrorism laws is not diminishing the ranks of new militant fighters.”

But don’t be concerned. The New York Times will always find a learned analyst who will tell us we are winning: “ISIS no longer has the momentum in its core territory of Syria and Iraq,” said Peter Neumann, director of the International Center for the Study for Radicalization at King’s College London. “It’s no longer the ever-expanding jihadist utopia that it seemed to be.” No, contemporary Britain more deserves that accolade.

“Thousands Enter Syria to Join ISIS Despite Global Efforts,” by Eric Schmitt and Somini Sengupta,New York Times, September 26, 2015:
WASHINGTON — Nearly 30,000 foreign recruits have now poured into Syria, many to join the Islamic State, a doubling of volunteers in just the past 12 months and stark evidence that an international effort to tighten borders, share intelligence and enforce antiterrorism laws is not diminishing the ranks of new militant fighters.

Among those who have entered or tried to enter the conflict in Iraq or Syria are more than 250 Americans, up from about 100 a year ago, according to intelligence and law enforcement officials....

UK: 'dozens' of Troops sent to fight terrorism in Africa

From UK Telegraph:

David Cameron: UK troops to go to Africa to help counter extremists

Up to 300 soldiers will be deployed in South Sudan as part of a peace-keeping mission while a further 70 will be sent to Somalia to support attempts to defeat the terrorist group Al-Shabab.

By , in New York27 Sep 2015

British troops will be sent to Africa to help counter the threat of Islamist extremists in the region, David Cameron has said.

The Prime Minister said that up to 300 soldiers will be deployed in South Sudan as part of a peace-keeping mission while a further 70 will be sent to Somalia to support attempts to defeat the terrorist group Al-Shabab.

Mr Cameron suggested that bringing stability to both countries could help ease the migration crisis that is seeing hundreds of thousands of migrants cross the Mediterranean to reach Europe.

And he said that it is right that Britain is “stepping up and playing a greater role”....

[...]

All the troops sent to the region will be involved in peace-keeping efforts rather than any active combat, with a focus on training, logistical support and engineering help....

GITMO: Another HIGH LEVEL THREAT detainee released

From the DoD:

Detainee Transfer Announced
Press Operations
22 September 2015

The Department of Defense announced today the transfer of Abdul Shalabi from the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay to the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On June 15, a Periodic Review Board consisting of representatives from the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Justice, and State; the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence determined continued law of war detention of Shalabi does not remain necessary to protect against a continuing significant threat to the security of the United States. As a result of that review, which examined a number of factors, including security issues, Shalabi was recommended for transfer by consensus of the six departments and agencies comprising the Periodic Review Board.

In accordance with statutory requirements, the secretary of defense informed Congress of the United States' intent to transfer this individual and of his determination that this transfer meets the statutory standard.

The Periodic Review Board process was established by the president's March 7, 2011 Executive Order (EO) 13567.

The United States is grateful to the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its willingness to support ongoing U.S. efforts to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility. The United States coordinated with the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure this transfer took place consistent with appropriate security and humane treatment measures.

Today, 114 detainees remain at Guantanamo Bay.

9/11 Survivors being lost every day

Last week, I wrote about 9/11 Survivors who managed to survive that day, only to be still battling the aftermath all these years on.

From Hudson Reporter:

The belated victims of 9/11

How suicide and cancer are still claiming lives of those who weren’t in the buildings

by Steven Rodas and Joseph Passantino

Reporter Staff Writers

Sep 20, 2015 |

Years after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, victims are still dying – some were emergency responders whose cancer is believed to be related to toxins in the air that day, and others are distraught because their relatives never made it out of the Twin Towers.

“They didn’t all die on 9/11,” said Connie Agostini in an interview last year after a plaque was dedicated to her brother, North Hudson Regional firefighter Robert Agostini, who died of lung cancer in 2013.

While the media has reported on cases of emergency responders contracting cancer, less visible are people who have died under unusual circumstances that may have been related to the attacks, including the grieving relatives of those who died in the towers....

Will Bowe Bergdahl avoid Court Martial?

Bizarre/outrageous as that may sound, the spin continues about Bowe Bergdahl the victim.

Why Bowe Bergdahl might avoid a court-martial

The general who led the investigation into Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's alleged desertion in Afghanistan urged compassion for the 'unrealistically idealistic' soldier.

Anna Mulrine, Staff writer
SEPTEMBER 18, 2015 WASHINGTON

The Army general tasked to lead the investigation into Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s capture by the Taliban testified Friday that he believes jail time for the soldier would be “inappropriate.”

Instead, Maj. Gen. Kenneth Dahl urged some measure of compassion for the “unrealistically idealistic” Sergeant Bergdahl, who he added was remorseful that his disappearance caused panic and a massive search by his fellow soldiers. “I do not believe that there is a jail sentence at the end of this process,” Major General Dahl told the military court at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

It remains to be seen what the impact of this recommendation will be. The proceedings, known as an Article 32 hearing in military parlance, were convened Thursday to determine whether Bergdahl should face a court-martial for leaving his small outpost in eastern Afghanistan in June 2009....

GITMO: open door policy continues

Here we go again!

From DoD:

Detainee Transfer Announced

September 17, 2015

The Department of Defense announced today the repatriation of Younis Abdurrahman Chekkouri from the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay to the Government of Morocco.

As directed by the president's Jan. 22, 2009, executive order, the interagency Guantanamo Review Task Force conducted a comprehensive review of this case. As a result of that review, which examined a number of factors, including security issues, Chekkouri was unanimously approved for transfer by the six departments and agencies comprising the task force.

In accordance with statutory requirements, the secretary of defense informed Congress of the United States' intent to transfer this individual and of the secretary's determination that this transfer meets the statutory standard.

The United States is grateful to the Government of Morocco for its willingness to support ongoing U.S. efforts to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility. [emphasis mine] The United States coordinated with the Government of Morocco to ensure this transfer took place consistent with appropriate security and humane treatment measures.

Today, 115 detainees remain at Guantanamo Bay.

All well and good, but wait!  Back in April 2011, The UK Telegraph had this summary of this latest release:

Memo date: 11/03/2008
Detainee Summary: If released without rehabilitation, close supervision, and means to successfully reintegrate into his society as a law-abiding citizen, it is assessed detainee would probably seek out prior associates and reengage in hostilities and extremist support activities. Since his transfer to JTF-GTMO detainee has been somewhat compliant with the guard force, but has one incident of threatening to kill a guard. He is non- CLASSIFIED(S) cooperative with debriefers and withholds information of intelligence value, probably indicating his continued support for Islamic extremism. Detainee co-founded the Moroccan Islamic Fighting Group (GICM) and served as the head of its Military Commission.1 He formerly oversaw GICM operations in Afghanistan (AF), Syria (SY), and Turkey (TU). Detainee is assessed to have been a close Usama Bin Laden (UBL) associate who played a central role in coordinating mutual support between the GICM and al-Qaida, to include providing GICM fighters to support al-Qaida combat operations in Afghanistan and terrorist attacks Europe. Detainee is assessed to have engaged in hostilities against US and Coalition forces as the GICM senior commander on the Bagram front lines and at Tora Bora, and was captured with other extremist fighters fleeing Tora Bora. Detainee ran the Moroccan Training Camp at the Derunta Training Complex and trained militant fighters in explosive detonators, chemical weapons, and military tactics at the Algerian Guesthouse in Jalalabad, AF, and at Derunta. Detainee has familial ties to the GICM and al-Qaida members, including former JTF-GTMO detainees who have attempted to reconstitute the GICM. Detainee is assessed to be a high risk to who is likely to reaffiliate with the al-Qaida network as a senior commander and resume hostilities upon release.

Health: Detainee is in good physical health with no significant medical problems.

Threat to US: HIGH

Intelligence value: HIGH

9/11: Survivors deserve justice

Remember this iconic image of the terrible day in 2001?  Islamic Terrorists murdered almost 3,000 innocents,  as they attempted to bring New York, and America to its knees?  Among those 3,000 were First Responders: EMT, FireFighters, NYPD who rushed in to save as many lives as humanly possible.

Long time readers will know that I have shared more than a few profiles of those courageous Americans who gave their lives in Service; Americans who gave no thought to their own safety

Remember this?

Keith was one who ran towards the madness as others ran out. Check out here and here

Along with Keith, we lost 343 FDNY, 37 Police Officers of  New York Port Authority, 23 of NYPD and eight EMT's from private emergency medical services.

The number of  lives destroyed that day - on home soil - is almost unimaginable, but the losses continue..  As you read this, I guarantee that First Responders who escaped with their lives that day, continue to lose their tenacious battles and become part of the ongoing losses - legacy -  of 9/11...

Just about every day,  the men and women who managed to walk away from 9/11, years later succumb to the silent killer that infected/affected every single person there on 9/11 and on the pile in the following days, weeks and months:

From the New York Daily News via Russia Today in September 2014:

Three 9/11 first responders died of cancer on the same dayLess than two weeks after the 13th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, three New York firefighters who worked at Ground Zero died of cancer, all on the same day, the Fire Department of New York said.

Lt. Howard Bischoff, 58, and firefighters Robert Leaver, 56, and Daniel Heglund, 58, died within hours of one another Monday. Bischoff had colon cancer, Leaver had leukemia and Heglund had esophageal cancer. Many believe the diseases were related to their time serving as first responders at the World Trade Center in the immediate aftermath of 9/11. FDNY officialsy 850 firefighters and ambulance workers at the scene have been diagnosed with cancer since then, related to that work at Ground Zero.

"Losing three firefighters on the same day to WTC-related illnesses is a painful reminder that, 13 years later, we continue to pay a terrible price for the Department's heroic efforts on September 11th," Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro said in a statement....

Much more here.. While there, check out the related stories in the sidebar.

Unfortunately, these three are not unique.  It is recorded that since 9/11 we have lost  approximately 1,800 souls as a direct result of the toxic environment on the pile.

Each year,  9/11 Rescue Workers and Friends put together a video to Honor and Remember  those First Responders who fight their last battle.  Take a look at 2014

Watch this to the end, where it talks about the Zadroga Bill.  At the video site, go read the important information about the ongoing political debate on re-authorising the Zadroga Bill.

On the 9/11 Rescue Workers and Friends site its is stressed just how important it is for this Bill to pass.  PLEASE go here, and read a brief  history of the bill, plus simple instructions on how you can help persuade any undecided politicians that approving this Bill is the only morally acceptable response from them.

I have previously written about Zadroga, and the absolute imperative for these brave men and women to be properly taken care of.   If you are interested, put Zadroga in the search engine thing above,...

In April 2015 I shared a video that puts a human face onto the critical reasons US politicians should recognise that they must re-authorise the Zadroga Bill.  To do anything else is morally reprehensible.

Take a look...

To most people, those names, those faces of our First Responders Survivors, who years later succumb to the environmental impact of that infamous day, will never be known.  They are mourned  by those who love them, and acknowledged by those who stood the line with them on 9/11, and still fight on against the diseases they gained from that day....

Remember this lady?

Among the madness of that day, this woman's picture became iconic.  Marcy Borders was an anonymous civilian  - a bank employee - whose picture demonstrated that the horrors of 9/11 showed no favour:  Men, women, children; civilian or official First Responders; the murderers showed no mercy.. Marcy Borders died a couple of weeks ago from stomach cancer.

That Marcy Borders,  and so many other survivors of that day, continue to pass away all these years later, should be a graphic constant  reminder to the politicians *debating* the re-authorisation of the Zadroga Bill.  This latest iteration of the Bill under debate  has a provision in it,  that limits the deserved  - earned - help to ANY of the Fallen to oh, 25 years as this latest debate suggests, is beyond absurd.  For the survivors of 9/11, who live with damaged bodies and minds, time is meaningless, and the Zadroga Bill guarantees should not be limited to any time frame.  Period.

Last month the New York  Post had this:
[...]

The rising toll of Ground Zero responders and others afflicted with 9/11-linked cancers has hit 3,700.

The staggering tally of those suffering cancers certified by the feds as 9/11-related includes FDNY members (1,100), cops and other Ground Zero responders (2,134), and survivors such as downtown workers and residents (467). Many have more than one type of cancer.

The FDNY’s chief medical officer, Dr. David Prezant, said over 2,100 firefighters and EMS personnel have retired on disability with World Trade Center-related illnesses, mostly lung disease and cancer, since 9/11.
The grim toll includes 109 FDNY responders who have died from WTC-linked illnesses, 44 of them from cancer.

Research has found thyroid, colon, prostate and blood cancers more prevalent among FDNY members who served at Ground Zero than those who did not, a spokesman said.....
There is more here on the long term effects of 9/11, which has to beg the question to the politicians: What the hell is there to discuss about Zadroga Bill?

Newsday has a hard hitting op/ed on the Congress' dragging their heels about the reauthorisation of the Zadroga Bill:

[...]

People are dying, from those who fled as the buildings collapsed to those who ran in to help, and the many who worked at the site for weeks afterward. And instead of doing all it can for those who are still living, Congress is making a tragic situation even worse.

The 9/11 World Trade Center Health Program expires this fall. It's one of two programs -- the other is the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund -- under the Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act. The act became law in early 2011, and had a five-year window.

Time's almost up.

Soon, those who are ill won't know whether their medication and treatment will be covered. By next year, the funding will dry up altogether. David Howley, a former NYPD officer who worked at Ground Zero and has fought neck cancer and other illnesses, is among many now fighting Congress just to continue the programs that kept him alive.

Howley shouldn't have to fight this fight. It's time for the absurdity to end. Congress must make the act permanent -- so the tens of thousands of victims battling disease and injury from the 9/11 attacks can stop making the trek to Washington to plea with lawmakers.

It must become our battle, too.

More than 33,000 people are ill or injured related to the Sept. 11 attacks, and more than 70,000 are being monitored for possible symptoms and illnesses. There are residents from all 50 states, and all but six congressional districts.

They include your neighbors, friends, family members and heroes...

. GO read the rest here.

As our First Responder survivors of 9/11 wait for the politicians to decide if the Zadroga Bill should be reauthorised, another group of Americans directly impacted by the terrorist attack, also wait for justice, albeit in a different arena.  These survivors will also continue to pay an unbearably heavy price for that day 14 years ago.

This picture, of course, is Ken Fairben, dad of Keith G Fairben: A Beloved American Son and Rob O'Neill, the SEAL who shot Osama bin Laden.

Ken and Diane, Keith's mom,  along with all the other Families and Survivors of 9/11  have been waiting now for 14 years for justice.  Long time readers here know that Military Commissions have been ongoing at the GITMO base, as self-confessed murderer Khalid Sheik Mohammed, et al, have their every need met as the judicial process limps along.    The 9/11 families dig ever deeper for patience as the wheels of justice grind ever more slowly.  These delays of course are all part and parcel of ensuring that the alleged (*ahem*) perpetrators of 9/11 continue to evade sentencing and punishment, as their defence lawyers keep bringing forth motions which contribute to the snails' pace.

In recent months, TWO scheduled Hearings in the 9/11 proceedings have been cancelled, and yes, the Hearings for the USS Cole atrocity are also nowhere near the day of justice being done.

Diane and Ken get regular updates on the status of the Hearings from the Office of the Chief Prosecutors, and this was one of the most recent:

The hearings scheduled from 24 August - 4 September 2015 have been cancelled.  To the extent that we can ascertain an explanation, due to being walled off from the Special Review Team's litigation, there are still issues unresolved in AE292, Emergency Joint Defense Motion to Abate Proceedings and Inquire into Existence of Conflict of Interest Burdening Counsel's Representation of Accused.

The next scheduled hearings in U.S. v. Khalid Shaikh Mohammad et al (2) are scheduled for 19-30 October, and 7-11 December 2015.

President Obama and Eric Holder should take more than a little responsibility for the crawling along of these proceedings (but they won't, of course.)  From his second day in office, Obama made clear his goal to close GITMO.   Most recently we have seen a re-establishment of relations with Cuba.  Only the most simple of minds could fail to see that this deal with Cuba is yet another ploy by this administration to close GITMO.  Don't believe me?: Castro demands Guantanamo Bay in return for US-Cuba diplomatic deal.

Inconveniently for Obama, his previous efforts to close GITMO have consistently been stymied by Congress.

However, despite that defeat, it is no time for complacency OR partisanship in DC. As we have seen over the years, Obama never gives up on his political agenda, and GITMO is no exception.  Just as with many other rulings that Obama has ignored, (ObamaCare, Iran?) so here could he also  over-ride opposition to GITMO closure by issuing another of his many Executive Orders.

As we pass yet another anniversary of  9/11, I have a very simple request for Barack Obama:  Dispense with all the partisan rhetoric and 'debate' ...and sign into law, in perpetuity, the Zadroga Bill which will ensure that ALL our survivors will never again have to worry that their health needs will entail long drawn out debate.  Our First Responder Heroes have more than earned such peace of mind, for themselves and their families.

Part two of my request?  Keep the hell out of the Military Commisions, and just quit releasing any GITMO inmates in yoiur cynical attempts to 'honour' one of your  early, ongoing election campaign promises, as you continue to try and close GITMO.

Your loyalty, Mr Obama, should be to America and those brave Americans who demonstrated such incredible courage on 9/11, and our 9/11 survivor families who day in, day out, continue to wait for justice.

Time to do the HONOURABLE thing, Mr Obama

ISIS al-Khansa brigade under deadly attack

Two interesting stories this week about the women who joined ISIS startingf get their hust rewards - death, and another story about an ISIS commander/rapist being killed by his victim.

Both come from The Clarion Project:

Mystery Assassins Target ISIS' Brutal Women's Brigade

Six members of the Islamic State's all female al-Khansa brigade were killed by an unknown armed group.

Mon. September 7, 2015

Female members of the Islamic State's al-Khansa brigade.

Unknown armed men have been attacking ISIS women within Mosul, the largest city controlled by ISIS. Although ISIS controls large swathes of territory, it is far from pacified.

“An armed unknown group attacked one of the offices of Khansawomen’s organization of ISIS in the area of new Mosul,” media officer of the Democratic Kurdish Party in Mosul, Saeed Mamuzini told Al-Sumaria News on Sunday. “The attack led to the deaths of six female members of the organization. The women of ISIS are active in recruiting other women to work within the organization.”
He added “Last week three Khansa women were killed during an armed attack in the neighborhood of Babel in Mosul.”

The Khansa brigade is feared for its brutality. In Raqqa the brigade was reported to be using a device called ‘the biter’ to savage the breasts of women caught breastfeeding publicly or insufficiently veiled.

ISIS responds to any disobedience with harsh and immediate punishment. “ISIS armed men kidnapped 40 citizens from the public markets in the middle of Mosul for failure to grow their beards, in violation of ISIS instructions," a local source in Nineveh province told Al-Sumaria News on Sunday. "The fighters led the kidnapped citizens to one of the prisons."...

Then this woman fights back against her brutal ISIS rapist:

Woman Kills the ISIS Commander Who Was Raping Her

Many women are held as sex-slaves by the Islamic State and few have escaped.

Wed, September 9, 2015

An emir (high ranking officer) in the Islamic State in Mosul has been killed by a woman who had been captured and used as his sex slave for three months. The revenge was taken against the man who was called Abu Annas for all the rape and abuse she suffered while in captivity.

The media officer of the Kurdish Democratic Party for Mosul, Saeed Mamuzzini, reported the incident to Alsumaria news on Saturday, saying that the killing took place in the Tel Raman neighborhood in the western part of the city.

Thousands of women have been captured by the Islamic State (ISIS) and forced into sex slavery, mostly Yazidis. Oftentimes, the Yazidi women are forced to convert to Islam and then "married" to their captors. Muslim women have also been forced into marriage with Islamic State fighters after the terror groups offers payoffs for the girls to their families who are desparate for money....
