Mohammed would be proud - or would he?

Today's news out of France highlights again how flawed some believers' reading of the Koran supposedly is.

Headlines scream Massacre at French magazine office and, thus far, 12 - including two police -are confirmed dead.  This is all to 'avenge Mohammed' or some such nonsense.

Unusually, this attack is being called a terrorist act almost immediately by France's Hollande, and the politicians are reacting with shock and surprise at the viciousness of this latest demonstration of the 'religion of peace.'  Meanwhile, I just heard the local msm say "the motivation for the attack is unclear".  They really did say that!

Fact is, these attacks are NOT unusual, but they don't often make front page headlines.  These rampages by Mohammed's disciples also are rarely called what they are: terrorism.

Every.single.day Islamist terrorists around the world  torture and abuse innocents, but apparently these attacks don't warrant mainstream media attention.

Take a look:   Islamic State murders Iraqi police officers who infiltrated group

Italy: Screaming phrases from the Qur’an, a 67-year-old Muslim devastates a church in Trento

Germany: Man stabbed in head and back for shouting “Merry Christmas” in Muslim-dominated area

Boko Haram has a long history of murder and mayhem all in the name of Islam.  Back in 2012:

Islamist Terrorists Kill 17 Nigerians

(Look over there for reference to other attacks)

Western politicians wring their hands and issue stern warnings (if they acknowledge such barbarity at all) but for those destined to live - or die - under the boot of Islam, western apathy is no life-saver.

Who can forget the western response to the abduction of hundreds of Nigerian school girls in April last year?

Several western 'celebrities' launched a pathetic, ineffectual, campaign (because this is what passes for foreign policy in the US these days):

The terrorists in Nigeria proved that such hashtags don't scare them, and just this last week was this:
Thousands flee as Boko Haram seizes military base on Nigeria border

These are not random, isolated attacks, and statistics show that the Religion of Peace practitioners have no intention of putting down their weapons.

Boko Haram Violence [is] Now Comparable to ISIS in Iraq   and those two are not the only murdering Islamists.

According to Homeland Security NewsWire:

Number of deaths caused by terrorism in 2013 increased 61% over 2012

19 November 2014
There were almost 10,000 terrorist attacks recorded in 2013 (representing a 44 percent increase over 2012), resulting in nearly 18,000 deaths (representing a 61 percent increase from the previous year). Twenty-four countries experienced more than 50 deaths in 2013, and increase of 60 percent from 15 in 2012. Terrorism in 2013 was dominated by four organizations:ISIS, Boko Haram, al Qaeda, and the Taliban — collectively responsible for 66 percent of all fatalities from terrorism. More than 80 percent of the deaths from terrorist incidents in 2013 were recorded in just five countries: Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Syria. Iraq continues to be the country most impacted by terrorism, with the number of fatalities in the country rising 164 percent to 6,362. At least thirteen countries face a greater risk of significant terrorist activity in the coming years: Angola, Bangladesh, Burundi, Central African Republic, Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Iran, Israel, Mali, Mexico, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Uganda....

That was 2013 figures, and we saw 2014 deaths caused by the religion of peace rise even more dramatically, including in Afghanistan  - which had its worst year ever in terms of civilian deaths, even as US President Obama declares the war there OVER.   In Iraq, since the withdrawal of the US Troops, there are almost weekly incidents of deadly terrorist attacks on civilians.  This while Obama declares the world a safer place.

All well and good for Pope Francis to urge Muslim leaders to condemn Islamist terrorism, as he did in Turkey, but apparently these Islamist terrorists are as deaf to his pleas as they are to the US State Departments hashtag campaigns.

The result of the Islamist murderers' unwillingness to stop their killing ways?  Why, more high profile 'workplace violence' such as we see today in Paris,  of course.

Today Paris; tomorrow your neighbourhood.

Pay attention.
