America's 9/11 Foundation: Ride to Remember

America's 9/11 Foundation:

About America’s 911 Foundation
America’s 911 Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Leesburg, VA and dedicated to the support and advocacy of Active First Responders (EMS, Fire, Police) and their families.

The Foundation’s goal is to provide support and assistance for families of those who protect and serve the larger public by answering the 911 call. Every year, the Foundation leads philanthropic initiatives including the annual ride to pursue and promote continued support for its mission.

Our annual Motorcycle Tribute ride serves to honor the fallen heroes from the 9/11 attacks and their families, as well as to raise money for the Foundation’s Scholarship for children of Active First Responders in the EMS, Fire, and Police Departments across the country. Over the past 9 years, the Foundation has awarded over $150,000 dollars in scholarships to over 75 children of Active First Responders.

The event gathers together all types of people affected by the 9/11 tragedy, from avid motorcyclists to police, fire and emergency personnel. Over the past 9 years, the ride has created a sense of camaraderie between participants and given the opportunity to pay tribute to those who served our country that day as well as those who currently serve. In past races, the ride has gathered many followers who get together on the route and at stopping points to cheer on the riders and show their support for the cause.
