Free SAT/ACT Software Offer Extended for Military, DoD Employees

A provider of college test preparation software has extended its offer to provide free $200 packages of the software to military servicemembers, DoD employees and their families.

According to a June 29 posting on the DoD Education Activity Web site, Lori Caputo, director of eKnowledge Military Donation Programs, said eKnowledge Corp. was extending through 2010 a five-year-old program that so far has distributed $32 million of FREE SAT/ACT test preparation software.

The package includes video instruction and supplemental test prep material, as well as interactive diagnostic tools, sample questions, practice tests and graphic teaching illustrations, Caputo said.

Those eligible include: active duty or retired servicemembers, veterans, members of the National Guard or reserve, DoD employees, civilians performing military support and their families, the company said.
