One small question about Obamacare

I have to ask this, because it has been bothering me for a while:

WHY did it take the Obama family many months of research to decide on a family dog, BUT this Health Insurance/Health Care/Health Reform (or whatever the label du jour is) has to be done "fast" according to a politician at a very recent Town Hall?

Surely, decisions that affect ALL Americans deserve as much - if not more - careful consideration as a decision which affects one family?

Just asking.

Because it is so much easier to make decisions that don't affect you. And you know, what type of dog you choose indicates so many things, you know they had to get the perfect one for image.
